Saturday Morning PET SHOW

Black Friday 4:15 am at Shopko

Jayden went to Grandpa's bed while the rest of us began our quest. Doug was the Driver with Grandma Margaret, Grandma Lauretta, Kimberly and I as the passengers. Kimberly and Doug (and me of course) stood in line in front of Shopko waiting for them to open at 5am. TOO FUN!!

The Real Turkey Day

We went to Doug's Aunt Beth's and Uncle Wes' in Boise. They had recently remodeled so it was fun to see. Doug's cousins Paul and his family, Michele and her family, and Elizabeth and her friends were all home visiting. Unfortunately Doug's other cousin's family had H1N1 so they were unable to join us. We all had more food then we needed and plenty of fun. Jayden loved playing hide and seek with his second cousins. Jayden and GG Nielson really enjoyed all the yummy desserts. Also Doug's littlest second cousin Wyston sure loved Doug's phone. It was a very Happy Thanksgiving.

PreKinder Feast

Tuesday was very exciting at Teaching World. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Jayden's favorite project was his BSU turkey. We had our "Thanksgiving Feast." The kids stuffed themselves like TURKEYS! It was a great day!

Our SMALL Family PreThanksgiving

Last Sunday we planned our "Early Thanksgiving" Doug's Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, his sister Marie and family, and his sister Elisha and her husband Brandon along with My Grandpa and Grandma, Mom and Dad, and us all got together. There were 19 of us total. It was so nice and TRULY DELICIOUS. My dad made the stuffing and his famous cauliflower, Grandma made sweet potatoes, and we did the mash potatoes. All of the other food was made by Doug's mom, SO YUMMY! Below is a picture of just the candy plate she put out with the pies!!! I am happy to report my stomach has been properly stretched for the upcoming Thursday repeat. The boys all decided to brave the weather and play out back. I have to say Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays! Family, food and games are simply the best ingredients for a good time.

Summertime In November

It has been so cold lately that our Prekindergarten Unit on the Seasons allowed for a little pretend break in the weather. Last week we studied "Summer." It was quite fun to see kids in sunglasses pretending to be camping when it was 40 degrees outside.

Jumprope for Heart

Kimberly enjoyed participating while the boys enjoyed watching and eating! I enjoyed catching up with friends and SITTING! Last Tuesday's event was a big success.

Jayden Got His H1N1 Shot

Only a son of mine would think the sticker he got with a porcupine on it that said "Just a little poke" has to be really a hedgehog. Got to love my brave little guy.

Kimberly Got a 4.0

Kimberly made Honor Roll.

Kimberly had a Full Week

Wednesday for Veteran's Day Kimberly's Honor Choir got to sing. GG Strong enjoyed being there to watch. He was a soldier in WWII and our hero.

They sang both versions of "God Bless The USA" as an entire school. It was really amazing.

Moving Day

Ethan and Jayden are getting their own rooms. Talk about a project!! We actually emptied out Jayden's room, the Playroom (Ethan's now room), and my work closet out into our livingroom. IT TOOK ALL DAY YESTERDAYand I will be working on it today too. CRAZY!! Anyway I decided to label Jayden's drawers so he can put clothes back and dress himself (which he does). Am I weird?? Don't answer that.

How to Remember All the Fun in One Page

I have been hesitating to post Halloween because I have this new goal to have an event fit on one 12x12. That is hard for me. I want to share all the Memories (okay and pictures) and I can't. So here is my first econopage. We will see if it grows on me.
