First Night in the TRAILER

Last Sunday we headed up to Camp Cascade one day early. Doug and I were SO excited we barely slept the night before. In fact I was so restless that I went to get supplies we needed at Walmart at after Midnight. We reached camp in the early afternoon. The kids all were dying to go to bed as soon as possible. (Wish I could make this happen every night.) We set up the beds and giggled until we finally crashed. The next day we had the WHOLE camp to ourselves until mid afternoon. It rained several times that day but in our nice little trailer we were warm and dry. We are all excited to no longer tent it.
Welcome Jaxson Walter!!!
Yesterday morning at 11:59 am Jaxson was born. He weighed 6.11oz and was 19.5 inches in length. Congrats to Jamie, Tina, and Big Brother Tanner.
WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Jayden's Dino/Water Birthday

Yesterday was a lot of fun for our soon to be five year old. We celebrated his "friend" birthday party!!! We had nine kids total over to our backyard for some water fun. They all played in the pool and on the new slide. The only way we could get the kids out of the water was to tell them it was cake time. Grandma Margaret did her magic again with a Stegosaurus Cake that was so incredibly cute. Not a kid could resist it even the big ones like Grandpa Ken who had half the head. Jayden was really spoiled by his friends he got a new dinosaur, a dino rug, towels, drawing pads, cool coloring board books, and tons more. There was a special treat because my really good friend Colleen was here with her baby girl Aria were here from San Diego. Jayden and Aria really hit it off. I would say the Jayden's 5th was a success. We are excited to share the actual day up at Kid's Camp in Cascade in our new trailer. YAY!!!

Freedom in Entrusting Him

Today's Text is:
2Timothy 1:12
"That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day."

Our sermon today really hit me with the idea that first we learn to trust God and then we entrust what we have to God. We had a family service and Kimberly got to help lead worship. It was so amazing to watch her share her gift. I now can see why my mom cried when I sang when I was young. I love my girl and it is so amazing to see her love her heavenly Father and want to praise Him. Entrusting my children to God is my daily prayer.

The 4th of July

We had such a great 4th! The day was very relaxing. Jayden had his buddy Adrian over and they played in the pool. Then that evening my mom and dad planned a very nice BBQ for my mom's cousin from Florida and his wife. My parents friends from Oregon and their kids were there as well, with my Grandpa, Jayden, Doug and I it made for a nice group. We visited until firework time then headed downtown. The show was AWESOME and very short so we got home in good time. HAPPY INDEPENDENTS DAY!!!

A GREAT Softball Season

Last Wednesday we went to Primos in Nampa for Kimberly's Softball End of Season PARTY!!! She and her teammates got some nice trophies. Too bad mom didn't move the cup so you could see it better in this picture.

Doug won a Stitch for Jayden (he looks so happy doesn't he?). He really loves it!
