On Saturday the festivities continued. Kristi planned a little surprise party for Grandma Kiser complete with black balloons. Grandma loved it. Eric and Kristi also purchased tickets for the Grandma and Grand

pa to take the boat ride with us on Lake Coeur d' Alene behind the Resort. The kids had an absolutely amazing time. You board the ferry and take a magical trip to "the North Pole." They have beautiful lights and when you get to the North Pole Santa and Mrs. Claus greet you and read over a loud speaker the names of all the kids who made the nice list this year. Jayden, Ethan, Kimberly, Kolby, baby Aspen and even our dog Saddie made the list so Chr

istmas should be full of surprises this year. I think we all feel that this weekend was as good of a Christmas as we could possib

ly ask for. Good times with family is the best kind of present. My favorite comment was from Jayden on the ferry ride back to the dock. Jayden looked at me and said, "Santa did

n't say your name Mom but you are a good girl."

It was so very sweet. Doug felt a little sad that his name wasn't mentioned either. I guess we both need some work at least we have our kids approval for the moment.
