The kids and Doug have been working on their cars for weeks and tonight was the
big race. The exciting part was that this year they had a Cubbies' division so Jayden was in on the action. It was pretty exciting and definitely crowded. Unfortunately none of the kids walked away with trophies (though they all got cool ribbons). Despite having a big cheering section with both Grandmas and Poppy there. Ethan and Jayden had several race offs but ended up with fourth place. Kimberly won two heats as well. I have to say I think making the cars with Dad was the
best part but
it was fun to be in the competition. Ehtan would probably say that after the "official" race betting his sister in a side race was top on his list of highs of the day as well.
