We had a very nice start of the New Year. We had a big family lunch at Doug's parents. All of his Mom's family came. Allan (Doug's Dad) said a very nice prayer of thanks for 2008 that gave us all hope for the upcoming year. With salmon, potatoes, food and more food that was followed by homemade ice cream it made Doug and my resolve to eat better a little hard to imagine. We took a picture of us as a starting point in our saga. So here goes. I must say we are cute together even in a before picture. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
